Octopus have been known to crawl, jump above water, and even blast their way across the ocean. Octopus use all or many arms to push or pull them against the ocean floor. They've also been known to burst out of water to escape any danger. However, I enjoy their ability to send powerful burst of water out of their funnel the most. They begin by letting water enter their heads. Then they block of all passage ways except the funnel. Finally, octopus use their muscles to squeeze the water out of their funnel, blasting them across the sea up to 25 miles per hour. They change direction by adjusting their funnel. However, using this method of travel is only used when completely necessary.
